About Us

Early History:

JHS was founded in 1974 as a one man business. By early 1978 business had grown along with the community of Bellmore where the company was founded. Incorporation under the laws of New York State followed in June of 1978. Several years later the company expanded once again and found a new and permanent home at 1863 Newbridge Rd. Bellmore, NY.

Current Information:

JHS is bonded, fully insured and licensed in all major municipalities in Nassau and Suffolk Counties. JHS is an active member of the National Electrical Contractors Association, National Fire Alarm Association, International Electrical Inspectors Association and International Brotherhood of Electric Workers, Local #25.

JHS is also actively involved in the community through membership in Bellmore Chamber of Commerce where our company president, Robert Vecchi, serves on the Board of Directors. We participate in Sacred Heart Academy events, the Bellmore-Merrick Central High School internship program, VFW fund raising events, Bellmore-Merrick Fire Department fund raising and The Bellmore Chamber Annual Street Fair.
